Shin'ichiro Jo is a student at Tokyo Art and Music University and Kengo Akechi's old friend in Quartet with Intent to Kill.

Jo appears to be the closest to Akechi among the group, as he's the one who Akechi talks to the most.
He explains to Akechi about the special study abroad at the Kunitachi Conservatory, and how Kirishima's relationship with Professor Shiina is giving him an advantage in the special study abroad. He doesn't say it, but he doesn't seem to like Kirishima's plan to go to the Kunitachi Conservatory by going out with Professor Shiina.
